If you do not have Microsoft Word installed on your computer but you do have Windows, there is an option to use WordPad.

WordPad is a basic word processing program that is included in all versions of Windows.

It is more advanced than Microsoft Notepad but simpler than Word.

The program does have some limitations but you can create basic documents that do not need advanced or fancy formatting.
